Over 300 years ago, at the end
of the 17th century, two unique musical instruments were born in the workshop of
Giovanni Grancino, the famous italian violin master.
The violin and the cello, which he created,
neither saw nor heard each other in over 300 years. Thanks to the afforts and
the support of the renowned Hamburg family
Gabriele
and Henrik Hertz, all of them are
friends and patrons of the St. Petersburg Virtuosen ensemble, these instruments
live an can be heard together again.
